11m Inland Workboat / Tug
A versatile workboat, she has been designed to undertake a variety of duties on inland waterways. Equipped with a deck crane and able to carry up to 2.5 tonnes of deck cargo, the removable hand rails allow easy loading and unloading. This vessel has been designed to operate in waterways with low air draught, whilst maximising carrying capacity without compromising manoeuvrability. The vessel has a single main engine and a bow thruster, and is also equipped with a small deck winch, air compressor and calorifier.
20m Tug / Pilot Vessel
A true workhorse, this vessel is designed to suit the demanding and varied requirements of the modern port operator. It is desirable to have one efficient vessel capable of many roles and combining functions without compromising operations. To achieve this in any vessel involves a detailed design process utilising in depth study of the operating environment and needs of the end users.
22m Inland Workboat
Operating within the tight limits of the Shannon network, this boat has all the capabilities of a multicat, on a very different hull. Full midsections give maximum load capacity on minimum draught, while cleverly shaped fore and aft sections give improved efficiency and reduced wash- all within tight margins for length, breadth, draught and air draught. A half-recessed deckhouse allows forward and aft visibility within limited height, and multiple water ballast tanks allow tailored adjustment of draught and trim.
The ToughCat range of semi-displacement workboats are ideal for heavy duty tasks where a turn of speed is required. The hull shape is developed to give a soft motion in wilder weather while providing a stable and expansive working platform. Vessels built include 10m, 12m and 16m versions which have been chartered for survey work, towing, Windfarm support and pilot duties.
